Quietly above the noise.
Albufeira's Old Town is busy by design: cobbled streets, the smell of grilled sardines, music drifting from Rua da Oura late into the night. Windmill Hill sits just above all of that, on the calmer side of the ridge.
From the terrace you look down over rooftops and pine to a slice of the Atlantic. In ten minutes you are on Peneco beach with your feet in the water; in another five you are at a table in the square. Then you walk back up, close the doors behind you, and the noise stays where it belongs.
The apartment was built for that kind of holiday. One bedroom, a fireplace for the cooler months, a fully kitted kitchen for the lazy ones, and a terrace big enough to lose an afternoon on. It is small enough to feel personal and finished to the standard you would want for a long stay.
